Dear All Friends and Supporters, Namaste !

 

We would like to inform you that Taksindu Social Welfare (TSW) is now changed into The Small World (TSW) with expanding its service area in Solukhumbu areas. Currently The Small World (TSW) is working in 8 different VDCS.

 

The Small World (TSW) is a nonprofit and non government social organization established with the mission to make the world smaller and narrow the gap between developed nations and third world countries like Nepal, working together side by side in locally driven sustainable community development project. TSW exists to improve the socio-economic standard of underserved communities where education, health, and basic infrastructure are restrained and people lack basic needs like safe drinking water and exist the gender gap. To address those problems we work in partnership with international organizations & volunteers creating the unique opportunity to serve the needy as all of us being in an interconnected global village with responsibilities, and obligations, to help each other out as members of responsible global citizenship.

We have a unique vision and direction. We don't impose solutions, but work with communities over many years to strengthen their own efforts to throw off the social problems. We constantly seek new solutions and ask ourselves how we can make the greatest impact with our resources. We make the most of our skills and abilities by working at many local levels that are far apart from the basic facilities like safe drinking water, health, transportation, education and communication.

 

TSW MISSION

We exist in order to improve the socioeconomic standard of underserved communities investing in education, health and sustainable community development projects.
 

TSW focus on empowering local community for active community participation ensuring the local ownership and sustainability of every project we do.
